Will show some pics Sunday afternoon. Been doing a little more stitching, as my right eye permits. Still dealing with the Bell’s Palsy, but seems to be slowly improving.

May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?! So, I am going to celebrate my birthday with you all. I am going to do a giveaway. Yup! I will call it “My 40th Year Giveaway”. What will be included in this giveaway you might ask? Well, stay tuned! Holi-versary Giveaway!

On October 1, 2008 I decided to jump on the blog bandwagon! I really didn’t think it would last this long. Nor did I think I would make friends through this avenue. But it has and I did! I have been busy trying to settle into my new life as an independent woman and missed my blogoversary this year. For those of you who don’t know, my father passed away in September after a battle with cancer. Thus gaining my “independence”.
