I am going on vacation to the Houston area in about a week. Are there any needlework/cross-stitch shops south of Houston proper? Thanks,

So much has happened in my life this year. The least of not which is the loss of my dad in September. Thankfully, I have been able to get through the past few months with strength in God and the support of friends. I am glad that the year is finally coming to a close and looking forward to the New Year! I wish everyone Peace, Love, Joy and Happiness in the coming year!!

The backdrop is actually a print of a painting by one of my fave local artists: Rob Kaz ! Check out his website for lots of cool paintings!! In other WIP news: I will post my WIPocalypse update over the weekend.

Finished Ornies

OK, so this year I only made 5 ornaments and those were for a few friends. Here they are (in no particular order): The 4 above are from a booklet that came with an issue of Cross Stitch Crazy in 2009. I think this one is my favorite design. It’s “Peace” by Jeannette Douglas Designs from the 2012 Christmas Ornament Issue of JCS.

Every waking thought

My every waking thought is of you; I simply cannot shake. I long to feel you your breath on my skin light caresses from your hands lips pressed firm against mine.   My every waking thought is of you. I love the way you flirt the twinkle in your eyes the smile across your face you make me feel like a girl; I simply cannot shake.   My every waking thought is of you. I wonder if we can or if we should play with temptation; I simply cannot shake you from my mind.

CONGRATULATIONS….

Marcy from Stitching Plus ! Out of 19 entries, #15 was the lucky number chosen by random generator at Random.org. Not much else going on this weekend. Stitched another little something. I think I will stitch it at least once more in a different color scheme. Will share that later… Again, Congratulations to the winner!!

Only a few days left!
