So much has happened in my life this year. The least of not which is the loss of my dad in September. Thankfully, I have been able to get through the past few months with strength in God and the support of friends. I am glad that the year is finally coming to a close and looking forward to the New Year! I wish everyone Peace, Love, Joy and Happiness in the coming year!!

I have been in a great mood lately and I think it’s reflected in my stitching. Anyway, here is my WIP update for the month: The Gardeners Ornaments VIEW SLIDE SHOW DOWNLOAD ALL   As you can see, I haven’t spent much time on anything this month. An

  I finished another ornament and it will find it’s way to it’s new home in little more than a week. I am personally delivering this one, lol! The backdrop is actually a print of a painting by one of my fave local artists: Rob Kaz ! Check out his website for lots of cool paintings!! In other WIP news: I will post my WIPocalypse update over the weekend.

OK, so this year I only made 5 ornaments and those were for a few friends. Here they are (in no particular order): The 4 above are from a booklet that came with an issue of Cross Stitch Crazy in 2009. I think this one is my favorite design. It’s “Peace” by Jeannette Douglas Designs from the 2012 Christmas Ornament Issue of JCS.

I think I will stitch it at least once more in a different color scheme. Will share that later… Again, Congratulations to the winner!!

I am working on some special gifts for some special friends this week. I just need to finish them into actual ornaments. The designs came from a booklet that was in Cross Stitch Crazy in 2009. I am not following exact color schemes; i
