As we leave 2012 behind

So much has happened in my life this year. The least of not which is the loss of my dad in September. Thankfully, I have been able to get through the past few months with strength in God and the support of friends. I am glad that the year is finally coming to a close and looking forward to the New Year!

Holi-versary Giveaway!

It's My Turn!!!

Edited Date to keep on top! Well, I have completed my list of what I want to stitch from my books and magazines and found that there are four (4) magazines that I have no reason to keep. Memorial Day~~~Giveaway

 Well, I promised another giveaway, something of the patriotic sort, and decided that Memorial Day would be the date! Now for the giveaway part: it will be a SURPRISE!!!  :D To start things off, I want to pay tribute to the veterans and currently serving members of our Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force (formerly Army Air Corps), Marines, and Coast Guard. Yes, the Coast Guard is part of our defense system and even served during WWII in an active capacity. I visited one such ship in Key West last summer. ***** What is a Vet?
