A couple of Giveaways received
Over the past couple of days, I have received two packages from giveaways I won recently! I am here to share them with you now.
The first is from Kathy’s giveaway. She gave away several charts recently that were of cats and dogs (and there may have been other animals). I won one of the dog booklets. Here is a picture of it:
I am planning on stitching one or two of them for my sister, but I will be changing some of the floss colors to better represent her dogs. She has 9 dogs…ALL INDOORS!!! Ugh! LOL…They are a rowdy bunch, but as sweet as can be around the little ones (sis has 2 toddler grandkids and one a little older nearby and another toddler grandkid in TN – not to mention the 2 on the way).
The second is from Terri’s giveaway. There were a bunch of stitching goodies in the package so I took a few pictures of that:
Yea, that’s my Sandy sticking her nose into it like the curious kitty she is. I asked her if she knew what curiosity did to the cat?! She didn’t seem to care as she kept on inspecting everything.
Thanks ladies so much for the goodies! I have also emailed a thanks to each of you.
I also received this year’s A Cross-Stitch Christmas book. I have browsed through it twice today alone and have found that I like many more of the designs this year than I did last. Here is one example (and probably the next one I will stitch):
Isn’t he beautiful?!
Between work and my thesis, I am finding NO time to stitch right now. That’s alright though! It just means I am getting my priorities straight – well a little bit anyway.
Until next time…
(*Edited to add: from Terri's giveaway, the Oriental Cross-Stitch book is one that I already owned so I communicated with Terri that I would like to PIF to someone who would like it. If you are interested in receiving this book just email me at frggygrl@aol.com. It will be PIF'd to the first person to reply interest!)

Now if we could all win some 'free time' to do all that stitching...huh?
Have fun with your new projects.
I meant to tell you in my card that I am originally from Florida, and grew up not too far from you...in Brooksville! Zephryhills is such a beautiful area of Florida...at least it used to be when I was growing up; hope it hasn't changed too much!
LOL -- guess I'm not as bad as your sis -- I only have 6 dogs indoors. At least mine are all little ones.
