May Day, May Day

It’s the first day of May so do you know what that means?! It’s May Day!! My second favorite date of the year (after my birthday, of course, which falls in the month of MAY). In a few short days, I will be 1 year away from turning 4-0! Surprised smileOh My God!!! I am thankful for the last 38 years, and 344 days I have spent on this Earth and I am looking forward to many more years, God Willing!

Time flies doesn't it? I'll be 40 in less than a year...or maybe I'll just stick to saying that I am 29 with lots of experience! :P Hope you have the happiest of birthdays!

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. I will miss our drives together finding new places to see and explore. I will miss you, daddy, the rest of my physical life. I look forward to the day we see each other again. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?!
