A Cra-a-a-azy Finish!

I finally finished another piece from the Crazy Challenge! I haven’t felt much like stitching lately, but I decided to force myself to stitch on something this weekend. May I present Try to Relax:

I plan to frame this piece and I may wind up giving it to a friend of mine. It’s cute, but I must admit that I IMG_1561am not fond of the stem stitches. My first attempt at those. Time will tell and maybe trying them in other projects, lol!

How 'dorable! Congrats on a crazy finish!

Maybe you would like the stem stitch better if you substituted perle cotton instead of the stranded thread?? Just a suggestion.

@Marcy: I may have to give that a try next time a design calls for the stem stitch. Like I said, it was my first attempt at it

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?!
