Everything Changes

Yeah, it’s been a long 5 months! I am slowly and finally getting on my feet. I am still dealing with a lot of raw emotions surrounding the loss of my dad and other areas of my life that decided to surface once again. That means not a lot of stitchy time. IMG_2954

Since my last post, I have done a little work on My Security Blanket

 

I also finally got the rest of the floss, so maybe that will prompt me to get back to it soon! And it may make it a bit easier to keep count since most of what I was missing is in the face of the cat, lol.

Farewell Daddy 3.8.1949 ~ 9.5.2012

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. I will miss our drives together finding new places to see and explore. I will miss you, daddy, the rest of my physical life. I look forward to the day we see each other again. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?!
