Star Wars Day

It's that time of the year again. Yes, when everything Star Wars comes out for one single solitary day!! I love Star Wars Day. Shoot, I love everything Star Wars. I even have Disney+ just so I can watch The Mandalorian series and of course the Star Wars movies (even though I own a copy of most of them anyway). Well, almost everything, lol. I don't participate except to say:

Someday, I am going back to Hollywood Studios at Disney World to experience the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge part. The rides are hard to get on as the waits are very long. Some need reservations, still!

Ok, Star Wars aside, Hopefully everyone out there in bloggy land is doing well, staying healthy, and minding their social distancing. I know I am; like I have a choice.

Farewell Daddy 3.8.1949 ~ 9.5.2012

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. I will miss our drives together finding new places to see and explore. I will miss you, daddy, the rest of my physical life. I look forward to the day we see each other again. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?!
