Some Stitching…FINALLY

I finally felt like doing some stitching yesterday and today. I filled in more of the sky on Washington Monument:

Somewhere along the way, I lost a row. However, when I count the rows on the trees, they seem to be correct. I will have to just adjust because I will be damned if I frog ALL of that blue, LOL!!!

I began the bottom half of Married This Day:

I will have to figure out how to do the lettering on this one as I am reworking it in French and this means less space is needed.

 

 

 

And I made a special bookmark for a friend of mine:

This has a significant meaning to the recipient. I am sure he will enjoy it!

No one will ever notice an error in all that blue...I wouldn't frog it either! :)

Farewell Daddy 3.8.1949 ~ 9.5.2012

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. I will miss our drives together finding new places to see and explore. I will miss you, daddy, the rest of my physical life. I look forward to the day we see each other again. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up.
