OK, so this year I only made 5 ornaments and those were for a few friends. Here they are (in no particular order):

I think this one is my favorite design. It’s “Peace” by Jeannette Douglas Designs from the 2012 Christmas Ornament Issue of JCS.

Hi There! Sure don't know how I missed your blog for so long. Glad to see you finished Coming Home; it's gorgeous as are your cute ornies. So sorry to read about your dad's passing. Didn't you also used to crochet? Back when you were in school? Or am I completely off the mark? Enjoy these last few days before the holidays. Oh, and congrats on your new job!!!

Farewell Daddy 3.8.1949 ~ 9.5.2012

Thank you for being my daddy for the last 40 plus years. You were my rock when I needed one. You were my best friend. You are now in our loving Lord’s arms and healed of your pain. Reuniting with long departed loved ones. And Mrs. Beasley too. I will miss the way you play your guitar and sing the songs you enjoy. I will miss our drives together finding new places to see and explore. I will miss you, daddy, the rest of my physical life. I look forward to the day we see each other again. May WIPocalypse check-in and a Giveaway

Well, it’s almost here! I am almost 40!! Why do I sound so happy about it you might be wondering. Most people get to this age and act as though their world is coming to an end. I choose to look at it in a positive way: I am STILL ALIVE!!! I know HE has a plan for me and my life. I am thankful everyday that I wake up. I am also thankful for my stitchy friends here in bloggy-land. Just because we don’t know one another on a personal level doesn’t mean we don’t know one another, right?!
